Description

Frank Komrska's general store in Karlin. c.1920 and 1930's. The bar next door can be seen in several of the later pictures.
Karlin was a stop on the M&NE railroad near the south end of Green Lake. It had a depot for shipping agricultural products from Grant Township farms and was the center of a community of mostly immigrant farmers lured from Chicago by the promise of good farm land.
