We ere Just in receipt of a varyfsll line of general merchandise, which we were fortunate enough to purchase at
the bottom of the late " panic " I n New York and Boston, for
cash, and at the time gold waa at its very lowest quotation.
This being the case we are in condition to reduce price*
on many goods much lower than >0 days since, at which
time weir ere selling many articles considerably less than we
coold had w» purchased at tbo time. While it Is tree that
some kinds of merchandise are higher than before onr stock
came In, It is equally trne that the average ret* is much Iras
than on the first of October. Aside from wollen fabrics and
boots and shoes there is hardly anything bnt what we are
